From Juliette Gréco to Simone de Beauvoir, Coco Chanel and Brigitte Bardot, their elegance and irreverence has always stirred the imagination of people everywhere and what if this mystery, this « je ne sais quoi », found its source in their bathroom ?

To understand this, one need only wander along the banks of the Seine, past the booksellers on the right bank, and then cross over the Pont des Arts and head towards the French Academy.

Continue on up the rue Bonaparte to the church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, sit outside at the Café de Flore and order a coffee. If you cross the Place Saint Sulpice, you might just catch a glimpse of Catherine Deneuve in her conservatory.

In&nbsp;1999, the last Dressler oven, symbol of Jacob Delafon’s turnof- the-century saga, was removed and replaced by&nbsp;new technological innovations. 
In&nbsp;1993, Jacob Delafon acquired&nbsp;Sanijura, a European&nbsp;furniture&nbsp;expert, and then the&nbsp;Troyes&nbsp;thermoforming plant two years later, thereby further developing its expertise in&nbsp;all bathroom products. The brand continued to expand abroad and began its operations in&nbsp;Russia&nbsp;in 1994. On 24 September&nbsp;2008, the European logistics center in Passel, France, was inaugurated. And then in&nbsp;2010, significant investments in the Tangier plant enabled its&nbsp;production capacity&nbsp;to be doubled.

Since&nbsp;2015, showrooms have been opened in&nbsp;Dubai,&nbsp;Oman,&nbsp;Shanghai,&nbsp;Ho Chi Minh&nbsp;City&nbsp;and&nbsp;Abidjan. The goals are as follows: to anchor the French heritage brand nature, while constantly developing it to meet new expectations. To become the leading brand in France. To reinforce its position as the international brand leader in Russia. 
To grow in high-potential markets, such as the Middle East or the Asia-Pacific region, and to achieve 60% of sales through export over the next 5 years.

After celebrating its&nbsp;125th birthday&nbsp;in 2014, Jacob Delafon still has great ambitions. The Kohler group firmly intends to make&nbsp;Jacob Delafon a global benchmark. For this, the brand has many assets, the first of which is its&nbsp;French roots: EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) headquarters in Paris, a Parisian design office made up of six designers, four R&amp;D centers (Dole, Troyes, Reims, Champagnole), three production sites (Dole, Champagnole, Troyes), an EMEA logistics center (Passel), a sanitary fitting technical center in Reims, to name but a few.

Jacob Delafon took advantage of its birthday to&nbsp;reinvent itself. The brand represents the “French-style” bathroom and wants to make this particularity its own, going well beyond the design trend by embodying the image cultivated by Parisian and French women. French and Parisian women are synonymous with elegance,&nbsp;refinement,&nbsp;delicacy&nbsp;and&nbsp;irreverence&nbsp;the world

SINCE 1986 TAKING ON THE WORLD

Finally, the “Mechanic Chic” collection is inspired by the former factories of the 19th arrondissement.

From the Buttes Chaumont Park to the Ourcq Canal, from the La Villette Park to the Halle Pajol, this is the real world. 
There is no pretense here and all items are&nbsp;authentic, dating from the late 19th or early 20th centuries, in the context of the industrial revolution, with all its related particularities, especially in the choice of materials such as&nbsp;copper and steel. Everything is extremely precise and intuitively dedicated to its function.

With no decorative changes, products are stronger, more&nbsp;masculine&nbsp;and get&nbsp;straight&nbsp;to the point, like a tool or a machine. Form follows function. Poor taste and mistakes have no place here, where everything is refined and under control.&nbsp;Elegance&nbsp;is expressed through monumental spaces, using&nbsp;colors in shades of concrete.&nbsp;Often hidden, technical elements are here, revealed. There is no compromise with respect to the space or the objects: elements are coherent and coordinated.
